WMU

Leader: Kaye Nunnelley

Our WMU group seeks to teach others (especially our children) about missions and actively serving others through organized mission opportunities. Such opportunities are:

  • Working at the local Soup Bowl
  • Collecting/sending items needed by foreign missionaries
  • raising money for missionaries (Lottie Moon & Annie Armstrong Offerings)
  • Hosting Mission Friends, RAs & GAs

Women's Ministry

Leader: Patty Hicks

Ladies of Light is a women's group designed to give rest to and minister to active/service-centered ladies within our church. Our ladies serve through WMU, but use Ladies of Light as a means of finding rest, growth and rejuvenation with other church ladies.

Homebound Ministry

Leader:

The homebound ministry is specifically designed to minister to those in the nursing home and those who are bound to their home. These people may still feel a strong desire to interact with other believers, and just aren't able to do so anymore. Homebound ministry takes time to talk with and meet the needs of these precious people. If you are homebound, or know someone who is who may need ministering to, please let us know!

Prayer Waves

Leader:

Prayer Waves is another group of ladies who know and believe in the power of sincere prayer. If you or someone you know has a need and would like to be prayed for, please do not hesitate to share that information with this group of ladies!

Encouragers

Leader: Natalie Grizzard

Encouragers help lift up our church family usually through a call, a card, or helping hand. Our encouragers remind us of our purpose and why quitting is never an option. We seek to glorify our Father and share His love with others. Encouragement is part of that glorification and sharing.
